Preparations
The leaves of Fedegoso are available in the form of a tincture and in capsules. Traditionally, the leaves are taken in the form of an infusion (tea) at a dosage of 1 cup, 2 times daily.
To prepare an infusion of Fedegoso, place 1 tsp. of the powdered leaves in a tea ball or gauze bag and allow the powder to steep in 8 oz. of freshly boiled hot water in a covered pot for 10–15 minutes. Pour the infusion through a fine strainer to remove any sediment and allow it to cool for a time before drinking. Refrigerate unused portions in a well-sealed container.
